HOW I PACK MY ORDERS - jewelry packaging ideas for small business.
Welcome back everyone! Today, I'm excited to take you behind the scenes and share with you how I pack my jewelry orders. My packing setup has had a little makeover that I'm absolutely thrilled about, and I can't wait to show you the new ideas and processes I’ve adopted. Let’s dive in!
Why Packaging Matters
Your packaging is the first impression your customers get of your brand, so it’s super important to create a memorable unboxing experience. While my approach might seem a bit extra to some, I believe that every detail counts—especially when it comes to the value of the orders I send out. A thoughtful packaging experience goes a long way in making your customers feel special!
My New Setup: Shipping Label Printer
One major upgrade I've made is the addition of a shipping label printer! This has truly been a game-changer for me. I used to manually address each package, but now, printing labels has streamlined my process and saved me so much time. This means I can dedicate that time back to writing handwritten "thank you" cards. Trust me, a personal note really adds that special touch!
Essential Packaging Supplies
Here’s a list of my current favorite packaging materials that I believe help elevate my orders:
- Branded boxes
- Eco-friendly packing materials
- Custom thank you cards
- Jewelry boxes
- Stickers for sealing
- Bubble wrap for added protection
Step-by-Step Packaging Process
Here’s a brief outline of my packaging process:
- Gather all packaging materials.
- Print shipping labels using my new shipping label printer.
- Carefully wrap each piece of jewelry in bubble wrap.
- Place the wrapped jewelry in a branded jewelry box.
- Add a personalized thank you card inside.
- Seal the box with a cute sticker.
- Address the box using the pre-printed shipping label!
Special Touches to Consider
These little touches can greatly enhance the unboxing experience:
- Include a small surprise or freebie with the order.
- Use colorful tissue paper to wrap the jewelry.
- Create an appreciation program for repeat customers.
