Prophetic caution, praying over the 4th of July
Hey good morning, family! How are y’all doing today? I wanted to take a moment to share some things that have been on my heart as we approach the Fourth of July weekend. As we prepare for this holiday, I feel led to intercede for protection over our families, our communities, and our nation.
During this time, it is vital for us to be vigilant, especially regarding public gatherings, and to pray against any potential threats, including the possibility of terrorist activities. Last night, I felt a heavy burden to pray for safety—both for our nation and for all individuals attending Fourth of July celebrations.
I previously made a video about creating a hedge of protection over our children when they return to school. That same concept applies here as we prepare for the holiday. I want to remind you that praying over your churches and the places you visit is crucial. We are living in serious times, and being watchful about our surroundings is necessary.
Listening to the Voice of the Lord
If the Lord speaks to you—Listen! If you feel uneasy about going somewhere, then do not go. That sense of torment doesn't come from God. He is a God of warning, nudging us in our spirits. Maybe you're planning to go to a specific grocery store or down a certain street. Be open to changing your plans based on that inner prompting. Trust in blind obedience to God's voice, even when it doesn’t make sense to you.
Embrace the truth found in Psalms 91 and 23, where we claim divine protection over ourselves and our families. We believe that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Every day, I plead the blood of Jesus over my family, thanking the Lord for His protection and the hedge that surrounds us.
Faith for the Impossible
As we gear up for the Fourth, let’s remember to pray. I'm also praying for our leaders, including Donald Trump, that they may be protected and fulfill God's calling. Remember, when we pray with faith, we witness God's miracles unfold in our lives. Believe God for the impossible! Whatever you face, remember, with God, all things are possible!
The Power of Tithing and Generosity
Let me share something that has impacted my life greatly—tithing. For years, we’ve experienced the power of giving and reaping. Initially, our giving was sporadic, but everything changed when we committed to tithing regularly. It opened doors that I can’t describe! I learned firsthand how to trust God with my finances.
When we give our 10% back to Him, it’s more than just a number; it’s a statement of faith saying, “God, I trust you!” And through that trust, we find that He rebukes the devourer for our sake.
How to Pray for Your Children
As we enter this next season, let’s take every opportunity to pray over our children—especially those in public schools. If I had kids attending public school, I would absolutely drive by frequently to pray. Here are some steps I would take:
- Cover the school in the blood of Jesus.
- Pray for the safety and well-being of the teachers and students.
- Bind any evil influences or plots against the children.
- Anoint your children with oil before they leave for school.
- Use scriptures like Psalms 91 as a protective declaration.
It’s essential for us to teach our children about their authority in Christ. Encourage them to claim the protection promised in God’s Word, and to know that they can stand firm against any attacks from the enemy.
Community and God’s Plan
There’s a tremendous revival happening, and I've seen it in our community. A local billionaire is investing in our town, preparing for an outpouring of God’s Spirit. It’s exciting to witness what God is doing!
As we approach the Fourth of July, remember that you don’t have to walk in fear. Instead, walk in faith and dominion over dark forces. Arm yourself with joy and God’s word—he loves you tremendously, and I do too. Thank you for being part of this community, and let’s keep lifting one another in prayer.
God bless you all, and I’ll see you next time!
